Our Service Sets Us Apart

As a member service organization, PDRMA is committed to providing the highest quality of services in the park and recreation industry. In fact, a recent member survey found that member satisfaction with PDRMA services rated an average 4.7 on a scale of 5!

Another measure of member satisfaction is reflected in PDRMA’s ability to retain members. In fact, PDRMA has retained 99% of its membership since its inception in 1984.

Some of PDRMA’s many services include:

• Broad customized insurance coverage for park and recreation property, general liability, pollution liability, auto liability, public officials’ liability, employment practices liability, worker’s compensation, health/dental/vision/life and unemployment compensation.
   
  
• Special insurance programs for volunteer medical accidents, underground storage tanks, community groups, liquor liability, accidental death and dismemberment, and special events coverage.
   
  
• In-house legal services and consultation with PDRMA staff attorneys.
   
  
• In-house claims administration with claims adjusted by PDRMA staff.
   
  
• In-house risk management services staff to provide loss control and risk management consultation to members.
   
  
• Education and training programs that include semi-annual risk management conferences, an Employment Practices Liability Certification Program (H.E.L.P) and many other training opportunities related to park and recreation operations. PDRMA training programs are of the highest quality, held in regional Illinois locations and cannot be beaten when it comes to price.
   
  
• A web based resource service to obtain a wide range of risk management information such as model policies, fact sheets, training resources, etc.
   
  
• A video library and extensive loss control resource files.
