Our Service Sets Us Apart
PDRMA is committed to providing the highest
quality of member services in the park and recreation industry. In fact, a recent member
survey found member satisfaction with our services rates an average 4.7
on a scale of 5!
Another measure of member satisfaction is reflected in PDRMA’s ability
to retain members. Since forming in 1984, PDRMA has retained 99% of its membership.
PDRMA’s services include:
- Broad customized insurance coverage for park and recreation property, general
liability, pollution liability, auto liability, public officials’ liability,
employment practices liability, workers’ compensation, health/dental/vision/life,
and unemployment compensation
- Special insurance programs for volunteer medical accidents, underground
storage tanks, community groups, liquor liability, accidental death and dismemberment,
and special events coverage
- In-house legal services and consultation with PDRMA staff attorneys
- In-house claims administration with claims adjusted by PDRMA staff
- In-house risk management services staff that provides loss control and risk
management consultation to members
- High quality education and training programs that include an annual Risk Management
Institute, a Human Resources and Employment Liability Program (HELP),
and many other industry-specific training opportunities
- A web-based resource service providing a wide range of risk management information
— model policies, fact sheets, training resources, etc.
- A video library and extensive loss control resources
- Risk management awards and corresponding cash incentive programs
- An expert service provider to manage your unemployment claims
