Governance

PDRMA is member owned and member controlled. Each member agency has a representative in the Membership Assembly that elects the Board of Directors, adopts bylaws and amendments, and establishes PDRMA's contractual term. The seven-member Board of Directors adopts agency policy, provides vision and leadership, develops the strategic plan, and offers management guidance.

A Program Council, with one representative from each participating member agency, governs each coverage program. The respective councils are responsible for determining the limits and coverage structure of its program as well as the budget and member rates.

Members have an opportunity to serve on any of PDRMA's five operational committees, which oversee and provide input on major functions within PDRMA.
