RMR Update

Members continue to help us with field and form testing as we move forward with our plans to introduce the Risk Management Review (RMR) to all agencies in 2022.

“Select members have been field testing the new forms in in2vate and will continue to do so through the end of this year,” notes Tim Lenac, PDRMA Risk Management Services Supervisor. “In mid-September, we launched the Slip, Trip and Fall (STF) Self-Assessment, along with two webinars explaining how to complete it.” (Webinars are on the Risk Management Review page of the website.)

While members familiarize themselves with the in2vate platform, we’re preparing our Slip, Trip and Fall Assessment — Compiling Data and Creating Reports webinar for Oct. 26. You’ll learn how to create reports within in2Vate and compile the information for loss analysis and risk management planning.

“With STF being the most common claims PDRMA receives, the self-assessment focuses us on a topic about which we can all learn, and it helps agencies become familiar with how the in2vate software platform works,” explains Lenac. “We plan to collect nearly 800 self-assessments, and that data about a single exposure will help us create a baseline for PDRMA’s greatest loss area. We’ll use it to identify membership trends, so we can better allocate our risk management and training resources.”

Of course, other activities, such as OSHA Gap Analysis programming and the ILEAP accreditation program, will continue to be available while the RMR rolls out.
