Healthy Habits and Healthy Habit Challenges Team up in 2024

If everyone was as good at following through on their decisions to improve their health as they are at making those decisions, we might have fewer New Year’s resolutions!

If you start off strong each year with your healthy resolutions but find yourself needing encouragement after the first few weeks — or months — look to PATH in 2024 to provide the nudge you need! We’ll have a combination punch of encouraging you to track your Healthy Habits and participating in the monthly Healthy Habit challenge.

For example, if you want to have more energy by getting active, there are 20 Healthy Habits you can track every day, some pretty simple such as…

  • Mom, dad and young daughter holding hands and dancing in their living room.Discreetly exercising while waiting in lines by doing calf raises, ab clenches, glute clenches, etc.
  • Having a walking meeting.
  • Completing a fun family activity.
  • Getting up and moving at least once an hour.
  • Taking a five-minute exercise break.

…and some that are more active, like:

  • Choosing stairs rather than the elevator.
  • Parking at the far end of the parking lot.
  • Scheduling a workout.
  • Walking for 30 minutes.

Check out all the Healthy Habits on your PATH dashboard by clicking on Home and then Healthy Habits. On the page that displays, click View All to see the many habits you can track. When you click Suggested, you’ll find the habits PATH thinks you should consider based on your interests and health assessment information. Once you add a habit, it appears under the Active tab where you can track it daily — and earn points!

Healthy Habit Challenges

Each month in 2024, PATH will offer a week-long Healthy Habit Challenge focused on an aspect of physical and/or mental well-being and show you how to get the greatest benefits as you develop that habit.
