Risk Management Review Update

Risk Management Review Update

We’re moving forward with our plans for a formal 2022 launch of the Risk Management Review (RMR) and infrastructure.

Our first step this year toward that goal was introducing the Re-engagement Group to the infrastructure and forms. The group attended an RMR training webinar about using in2vate, our new web-based software platform through which members will access the necessary forms and communicate about them with their agency’s Risk Management Consultant. (The recorded webinar, along with training materials, is available on the Risk Management Review page under Related Information.)

Next, the All-member Group will pilot the RMR in early third quarter. Those agencies will learn how to log in to the in2vate platform to complete a Self-review of the Slip, Trip and Fall Form for all major facilities.

What’s next?
This summer, we are holding Safety Coordinator online update meetings in June, July and August. At these meetings, Safety Coordinators can review RMR events, share information and consider next steps to refine their agency’s risk management programming. Mark your calendars for these webinars:

  • July 16.
  • Aug. 20.

Throughout the rest of 2021, we will continue field testing select review forms that use the new RMR measurements system.

All agencies will, of course, ultimately receive formal training that includes guides, live webinars and self-directed, web-based materials.
