A Bigger, Even Better PATH Is Yours in 2023

PATH 2023 launched Jan. 1 with some exciting new features along with its traditional favorites. On-site screenings run from Jan. 11 through March 30. You can register to attend a fasting, finger-stick appointment at any of the 63 PDRMA Health Program agencies hosting a screening by going to the Benefits Page on PATH, selecting LabCorp and then Onsite Screenings.

PATH First Quarter Step Challenge

Get ready to walk through some beautiful natural sites in the U.S. National Parks Challenge, Feb. 6 – 26. Registration for PATH’s first step challenge of the year opens Jan. 30. Form a team to track steps and travel to nine stunning U.S. National Parks. From desert canyons to seaside cliffs, this journey is one for the scrapbooks. Look for more information regarding the challenge in a January email.

This year, you will earn 5,000 points for participating in the screening — no matter how you complete it — whether through an on-site agency location, CVS MinuteClinic, LabCorp or at your physician’s office. You’ll receive a Voucher Code via email, so you can redeem those points any quarter during the year to add to your earnings.

Even better, you qualify for an extra $25 cash incentive when you complete an on-site screening or one with CVS MinuteClinic, LabCorp or at your physician’s office. This incentive is in addition to the $400 you can earn from the points and levels game, bringing your total possible PATH earnings to $425 for the year!

Another bonus is the new quarterly incentive payouts, which means you receive your hard-earned PATH incentive at the end of each quarter instead of waiting for the end of the year. PDRMA distributes the incentives to agencies to pay participants up to $100 (or $125 with biometric screening participation) at the end of each of the four quarters. You must be an active employee or covered partner as of the last day of each quarter to receive your incentive.

Be sure to visit the refreshed PATH 2023 website that offers you easier access to frequently used resources and those recommended especially for you. You’ll see a new home page when you first log in that includes a guided tour of the updates.

Valuable Shoutouts to Give and Receive

This year you can earn positivity points on PATH by spreading around acknowledgements! Give Shoutouts to colleagues, team members and coworkers who have helped you, others, the community or your agency. You’ll earn 100 points for each Shoutout given or received, up to a maximum of 100 points each month.

Some important PATH features to remember in 2023 are:

  • Covered partners can earn incentives for their participation in PATH and can enroll by clicking here or downloading the Virgin Pulse app.
  • Take your Health Check Assessment and set your interests for the new program year!
  • Download the Virgin Pulse app (if you haven’t already) and earn 250 points when you log in for the first time!
  • Look for a new way to earn points later this year when we introduce videos in PATH’s Media Library. You can earn 50 points for every video you watch up to a maximum of four — and 200 points — each month.
