Did You Take Good Care of Your “Self” During the Challenge?

When we asked last month if you felt you needed a break from taking care of others, we suggested you might want to participate in PATH’s Focus on Self-care Challenge that took place earlier this month. Five hundred and twenty-two of you took our advice, learning how to take the time you need to care for both your body and mind.

By the end of the challenge, 13 percent of participants reached 100 percent of their personal goal and 22 percent reached 110 percent of their personal goal. The average time participants spent on self-care was 197 minutes!

In total, 130,354 self-care minutes were recorded by the end of the challenge, and 22 minutes was the average daily goal set by participants.

Mindful of Mental Health Be Positive Webinar

With the PATH challenge already focusing participants on self-care, it was no surprise that 183 people attended the May 9 webinar about the benefits of positive thinking. The key, according to Beth Pollack from Balancing Life’s Issues, is to change your thought process and perspectives. If you missed Pollack’s talk about the history of positive thinking, how to pursue happiness and the must-dos and how-tos for success, click here to listen to the recorded webinar and here for the webinar slides.
