How Is Your Agency Preparing for Winter?

Agencies to Review Duff & Phelps Property Schedules Beginning in January

Effective Dec. 31, 2021, PDRMA’s contract with AssetWorks asset management services ends. Property schedule information for all PDRMA Property/Casualty members is now with Duff & Phelps (D&P) and available through its online portal.

“Members may choose to remain with AssetWorks for accounting inventory and/ or GASB reporting — or move those functions to D&P as well,” explains Tim Conlon, PDRMA’s Property/Casualty Program Director. “If your agency prefers to remain with AssetWorks, you’ll need to sign a new contract for those services. In either case, you can expect to pay an annual service fee of between $1,000 and $2,000 depending on your agency’s total number of assets.”

As of Jan. 1, 2022, D&P will manage PDRMA members’ property schedules, based on the membership appraisal it conducted in 2020. Your agency will need to make its property updates through D&P’s online portal. Beginning next month, we will annually send each agency an updated property schedule from the preceding year for verification. You’ll have two months to review and confirm the information before returning it to us by April 1 each year.

Managing Your Property Schedule

You can update your property schedule as needed through the Duff & Phelps online portal, adding or deleting properties directly in the system. If you need help with the portal, please review our New Asset Management Platform Update recorded webinar. Although the online systems are intuitive and easy-to-use, D&P is available for additional training or tutorials as needed. Contact Britney Gillespie, PDRMA Property/Casualty Operations Coordinator, via email or at 630-435-8911 if you have questions about D&P or your agency’s property schedule.
