Risk Management Review Gets Underway in 2022

After an extensive pilot program — and a pandemic — we’re rolling out the new Risk Management Review (RMR) in 2022! Based on a more interactive (and online) partnership to determine each member’s specific safety and risk management needs, the RMR will provide a wealth of knowledge to help reduce risk exposures, address claim trends and provide specific resources to help the PDRMA Property/Casualty membership save time and money.

“If you don’t already have a Kickoff Meeting/Discussion scheduled with your agency management and PDRMA Risk Management Consultant, look for that to get on your calendars very soon,” explains Tim Lenac, PDRMA Risk Management Services Supervisor. “You’ll be working together closely to create your agency’s plan to address specific risks and identify agency-specific activities to pursue in 2022. In addition, you’ll complete a new Target Form this year, which the Risk Management Committee chose to gather membership-wide data on a specific risk.”

PDRMA will input Target Form responses into the in2vate software platform to analyze the data and develop resources and training to help members address that type of risk and track trends.

Only one piece of the RMR still needs finalizing — the incentive program. “The Risk Management Committee and Subcommittee are still exploring incentive ideas,” Lenac explains, “and we’ll let you know as soon as we have that in place.”

If you have any questions about the RMR, please contact your Risk Management Consultant.
